During my 33 years as a Senior Executive with a Fortune 500 company, my wife, children and I moved 12 times. When we moved from the north to Texas, we found that our furniture did not fit the Texas lifestyle. Then 14 months later it was time to move back north to Washington, DC. Needless to say, our "Texas furniture" couldn't easily move with us; we needed something smaller in scale to fit our new lifestyle.

With every move our process became more efficient, and we soon knew exactly what we needed to do each time -- including holding garage sales, and learning how to make the Internet work for us. We have found holding garage sales to be fun, successful, lucrative, and much easier on the mind than using other Internet resources for selling.
